Althaf Muhammad
I am Althaf Muhammed, a Business Management postgraduate from Cardiff University with a strong foundation in Computer Science and Engineering. I currently work as the International Recruitment Team Leader at NHS Wales Shared Services Partnership, where I lead and coordinate recruitment initiatives for healthcare professionals globally. My work focuses on streamlining recruitment processes, ensuring adherence to NHS Wales standards, and supporting international candidates through their onboarding journey.
Previously, I worked as a Systems Engineer at Infosys, specialising in Java Angular Full Stack Web Development. My technical background, combined with my management education, has equipped me with a versatile skill set at the intersection of technology and business.
I am PRINCE2® Foundation and Practitioner certified, with growing interests in Business Analysis, Tech-Adjacent roles, Analytics, and Process Improvement. I'm a lifelong learner and tech enthusiast who thrives on solving problems, optimising workflows, and bridging gaps between technical and non-technical teams.
During my academic years, I was an active IEEE volunteer, serving in various leadership roles, including Editor-in-Chief of IEEE CS Compute. In recognition of my contributions, I received the Best IEEE Computer Society Student Volunteer Award from the IEEE CS Kerala Chapter in 2018.
Driven by curiosity and commitment, I enjoy working with diverse teams, learning from challenges, and building meaningful professional connections.
